I hope everyone had a great weekend. My momma really likes to take pictures of me; I guess it is because I am so darn cute! BOL! But sometimes it gets really annoying especially since I am trying to sleep and all.

I graduated!

Hello everyone!

You are looking at a graduate of the beginner obedience class! Yay! Last night my momma picked up my diploma at my graduation ceremony. Can you believe that they did not allow dogs to come to the ceremony???!!! I was not allowed to attend my own graduation! No fair!!

When I am alone.....

Hello!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Thanks to everyone who send my momma well wishes. She went to the doctor on Monday and now she is in some boot. She is happy because she does not have to walk on crutches anymore! Yay! I hope she gets better soon.

Anyways tommorrow my momma goes back to work! She had a two week break and now school is starting again (by the way my momma works at a college!). That means I have to be by myself! : (

This is what I do when I am alone. I wait until my momma and poppa come home!

I do not like to be by myself. I will think of a way to keep my momma from going to work. While I scheme, you guys have a great night!

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a great Friday. Well today my momma taking me out for my morning walk, suddenly she tripped and hurt her foot. My momma went to the vet for people and the vet told her that her ankle is broken. What does this mean?? No more walks for me! Well no morning walks anyways. My poppa will walk me at nights and on the weekend till my momma gets better.

My momma came home in a cast and cruches. She can not do anything expect for rest. I feel so bad for my momma. I will try to help Momma as much as I can.

I'm sorry about your ankle Momma but I'm here to help you in anyway!

Well I have some good news!!! I passed my beginners class and so did my girlfriend Anna the GSD!! Yay!! I hope to see Anna in the next class!!

I am a fit doggie.....I walk two miles a day!! I walk one mile in the morning and one mile at night time.

I love treats.....which doggie does not love treats??!!! But my favorite treats are wellness brand!! Oh and I really love dingo's!! I love chicken!! Yummm!!

I have lots of toys! My favorite toys are squeeky toys. When I hear the toys squeek, I sing beautiful songs to my momma and poppa!

On the weekends I love to follow my poppa around, and I like to fall asleep in his home office!

I take obedience classes; my goal is to be an agility dog. My momma wants me to be a therapy dog!



I am big Alabama football fan! Whenever Alabama plays on Saturdays, my momma puts on my alabama shirt. Alabama always wins whenever I wear that shirt! My momma says that I am good luck!



Every day i help my momma water the plants. Well she waters the plants while I watch her!

I have to check whether my momma watered the plants!

I hope everyone is having a fun weekend. Today I got to play basketball with my brother!! Basketball is an interesting game. I had to bounce a big ball; I was hoping to chew it like my toys but this toy is too big for me!!

Hiding from Momma!

Hello everyone,

I hope yall had a great weekend. I had a good weekend; I got to see my brother Chase. I will post those pictures as soon as my momma uploads them to the computer. But I must travel back in time when I had to hide from my momma!


On Thursday, I had to go to the VET (dum dum dum). I really hate going to the VET (dum dum dum). So I tried to hide from my momma so I do not have to go to the vet.

I had to look all around so Momma will not come around and grab me!

Needless to say none of my hiding places worked and I went to the vet anyways. I am fine but I also got groomed (I hate that too!). I am now a very handsome boy indeed! Take care everyone!

On the weekdays, my momma and poppa go to work. They wake me up early but sometimes I just want to sleep!

Momma can I sleep for five more minutes please?

Bath time!

So the other day my momma was reading a post by Busy Buttons, and she saw the cute pictures of Buttons while she was taking a bath. So my momma wanted to take some pictures of me while I was taking a bath! (Grrrr......)

I hate taking baths. My poppa had to trick me by giving me a treat (I can never say no to treats). While I was eating my treat, he picked me up and put me in the sink. Then it was bath time!

I do not like to take baths!

I was so clean when my bath was over. My momma said my fur was silky and I smelled like roses! But I went out and played in the yard again. Now I am a dirty boy again; I do not want to take another bath!

The weekends are fun!

I love the weekends! It is sooo much fun. The weekends are fun because my family does not have to go to a place called "work." (What is work anyways......my momma and poppa get up early and dress in nice clothes. And when they come back at 5:00 pm they are so tired!).

Here is a typical weekend for me:

I get to sleep in as late as I want.

Then I go out on walks.....who is prettier me or the flowers? BOL!

it is so cool to have online friends!

hello everyone!

I hope everyone had a great week. I had an excellent week. Do you know why? Because i got to meet all sorts of new dogs on my blog! It is so exciting! I wanna thank all of the dogs and their mommas that commented on the blog! It is awesome! I hope to make more friends online!


Thursdays are the worst day of the week for me! My momma goes to work and school all day long. And I get to stay all myself all day! I do not like to be by myself. Today I played a trick with my momma. She takes me for a walk in the mornings around 7:45 and she will walk me for 15 minutes to do my doggie "business." Today I walked for a mile to do my doggie "business" and my momma was almost late for work! My momma can never be too mad at me......I am too cute!

I'm sorry you almost ran late for work Momma! But I want to spend more time with you!

I had class tonight! My teacher used me as a model for correct down stays! It was so exciting! I am totally sure I will pass the beginners class this time! My girlfriend Anna did really good too! She will pass the class too! Yeah!

I can do sit stays too in class!

A Day of Relaxation Followed By A Party!

Yesterday was a good day for me! My momma had a jewelry party with all of her lady friends. While she was cleaning and getting ready for the party, I was relaxing. I went outside to work on my tan! It was very fun indeed! Afterwards, I went inside and watched my momma cook the food for the party. I like to watch my momma cook because everything she cooks smells so good! Maybe she will let me try her food one day........if I am a good boy of course!

For the party my momma dressed me up in some tie. It was very weird being in this tie; but all the ladies at this party said I was a very handsome boy. There were so many ladies at this party; I was so happy! I played with all these ladies! And guess what?! I saw my brother's owner-I bet you did not know I had a brother! His name is Chase and he is a little older than me. He is a white shih tzu. His momma said that she was going to bring him next week; I cant wait because it has been too long since I have seen him!

Welcome to my blog!

Hello everyone!

My name is Chewy and I am a shih tzu! I am one year old! I love to play my momma and poppa! I also love to chew on my toys and my parents shoes! I try to be a very good dog because my poppa always gives me treat when I am a good boy! I love to watch sports with my parents; my favorite sports are football (Roll tide) and baseball (go Yankees!). My favorite show is Mad Men, and my momma got season 3 on DVD! I get to watch the show with my momma!

I love to meet new people and dogs! Everyday I walk around my neighborhood and I say hi to all my neighbors who are walking outside! My neighbors tell me that I am so adorable and my momma told me that I am the talk of the neighborhood!

My momma wants me to be a service dog. I think I would be a great service dog since I love being around people. What I really want to be is an agility king! I love watching the dogs on TV going through those agility courses! My goal is to become an agility champion! I just started the second round of obedience training. I had to repeat the beginner class again. My first class was last night and i got to see some my friends from the previous class. I was so happy because I saw my girlfriend Anna! I am sure Anna and i will pass the class with flying colors!
