I loved to be brushed!

It feels so good! I could be brushed for hours. Now I am a little picky though.....no one can brush me but my poppa! If anyone else tries to brush me like my momma I run away and I hide! My momma says that poppa had the "magic touch." My poppa says that he "brushes with love." Hey I don't care I just want to be brushed.

Ahhhhhhh being brushed is sooooo relaxing!

You know what's the best thing......poppa brushes me everyday!

Thinking Thoughtful Thursday on a Friday!

Well I wanted to do a Thinking Thoughtful Thursday post but momma said that the camera ran out of batteries! So here I am doing a Thinking Thoughtful Thursday post on a Friday.

I like to do alot of thinking while I am sitting here. Here are some thoughts by Chewy .

What is this "work" and "school" place that momma, poppa and brother go to? They leave very early and come back late in the evening all tired. I say let's get rid of the "work" so they can stay with me all day! : )

Why must I sit or stay or heel to get my treats? Cant I be cute and adorable and get a treat? Nooooo! Momma says that I have to be a "good boy." Hey, I'm a good boy......half the time........

Why do some humans want to harm animals? I see posts of animals that are injured and killed and it breaks my heart. I wish we could live in a place where no animal will ever be hurt.

Something to think about......

All day at the groomers makes Chewy an angry boy!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I am feeling alot better, and I have learned my lession! I will not be getting anywhere near an ant bed! Whew!

I am so happy.....because I won an award! Yeah! Thanks to Maddy the Puggle and Yoda and Brutus for giving me the awards.

(1) I never sleep at nights; I guess it is because everyone is sleeping and I must protect my family! I do sleep all day while everyone is out.


(2) My nickname is fat dawg....my brother gave me that nickname because he thinks I am fat.


(3) I like to lick people's feet!

(4) I have tennis balls that make squeeky noises and I howl whenever that toy squeeks!


(5) I like to take my momma's yarn and run around the house with it!


(6) Whenever I get mad at my momma and poppa I hide where they cannot find me!

D'oh they found me!

(7) I wait by the window to wait for my momma and poppa to come home from work!

Attack of the Ants!!!

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone had a great week. Well let me tell you what happened to me........on Monday after my bro's b'day party my momma and I went walking and I stepping into an ant bed!! I had ants all over my leg!

I had to take a bath to get rid of all those ants! BOO!

And then all the sudden I was itchy everywhere and my tummy was turning red! My momma said that those are "ant bites." My momma and poppa were really scared and called the vet. The vet told them to give me benadryl and corticone cream.

After my momma and poppa followed the vet's instructions, I went to sleep on my momma's leg! ZZZZZZ!

I got pressies on my brothers birthday!

I hope you all had a great weekend. Well today is my brother's 16th birthday yeah! My momma tells me that everyone 16 year old wants a car. So did my brother get a car......

No! That is my poppa's car!

But we did get this cool cake for him! My momma tells me it is really good!

And guess what?!!! I got some pressie in the mail from my good friends Chewy and Lilibell! They gave me a pretty harness and also a sqeeky toy! I loved it! Thanks you guys!

A hot summer day by the pool!

I hope you all are having a good day. Today as always was a hot summer day and my grandmomma took the day off! So we all decided to go swimming!

A Dinner for Champions!

I hope you all had a great weekend. I had a good weekend. I was so tired after Luna's Sleepover Party that I took a nap all weekend long.

On Sunday's, my family usually grills steaks in the backyard. YUM! I love steaks! But yesterday, my momma decided to grill some chicken. I love chicken too! and she made this delightful dish!

I hope you had a good weekend. Thank you for all of your concerns about the accident on Friday. I am fine! I was a little cranky after the accident....who could blame me?! But I am fine. My momma's car is not totaled! She is so happy!

I hope everyone is having a great day. I am not having a good day because my momma got into an accident today. Poppa says that her car might be totaled....momma is being optimistic (she really loves that car). Well what happened was that we were driving to buy my brother some burger king, my momma was driving, my bro was in the passenger's seat and I was in the back. And then we stopped at the red light and all the BAM! Someone rear ended us! That was not cool! I think I am ok....I will give you an update tomorrow.

Anyways.....I was reading some blogs today and i noticed some people playing Oscar's all about your people post. So I decided to join in on the fun! We are from Alabama and live in Montgomery the capital. My poppa, momma and grandmomma all work at Auburn University in Montgomery. My poppa is an economics professor and he even does some cool economic analysis. He is helping the state figure out the economic impact of the oil spill. He is very important. My grandmomma works for Sponsored Programs; she tells me that she writes something called "grants" for the professors. Lastly my momma, my momma works as a research assistant and also she is a student too. She is getting her 2nd bachelors; her major is Medical Technology. Oh yeah and she is in the army too; she hopes to become an officer but since she broke her ankle those plans have to be on hold. Oh yeah I have a 15 year old brother. He has just gotten his permit and will be driving really soon!

I have a great family. They play with me all the time except when I am sleeping of course! Here is a picture of my momma playing with me!

Ever wonder how I got my name?

Hi everyone!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a good weekend! Well I could not play Frankie's fourth of July name game cause I was on vacation. But I have decided to tell yall how I got my name.

My momma is a very big Star Wars fan and she wanted to name me after someone from Star Wars; meanwhile my poppa wanted to name me "Charlie Brown." Momma was ok with that for a little while but she thought "yoda" seems like a nice name. But she did not like "yoda" well he is not hairy. My poppa suggested Han Solo; momma actually liked that name. But in the end it was Chewy; I guess they thought I look like Chewbacca the wookie!

Personally, I think I am cuter!
