I am so excited! I do not know what to bring to the party! My momma says I should bring some toys to the party. Oh! I know what i will bring. My momma recently got me a snake toy! I really like it and hope you all will like it too!

I hope you had a good weekend. Thank you for all of your concerns about the accident on Friday. I am fine! I was a little cranky after the accident....who could blame me?! But I am fine. My momma's car is not totaled! She is so happy!

My momma took a picture of me and she says I am winking! She says that it is the coolest pic ever and that I have to put it on my blog. So here it is!

I hope everyone is having a great day. I am not having a good day because my momma got into an accident today. Poppa says that her car might be totaled....momma is being optimistic (she really loves that car). Well what happened was that we were driving to buy my brother some burger king, my momma was driving, my bro was in the passenger's seat and I was in the back. And then we stopped at the red light and all the BAM! Someone rear ended us! That was not cool! I think I am ok....I will give you an update tomorrow.

Anyways.....I was reading some blogs today and i noticed some people playing Oscar's all about your people post. So I decided to join in on the fun! We are from Alabama and live in Montgomery the capital. My poppa, momma and grandmomma all work at Auburn University in Montgomery. My poppa is an economics professor and he even does some cool economic analysis. He is helping the state figure out the economic impact of the oil spill. He is very important. My grandmomma works for Sponsored Programs; she tells me that she writes something called "grants" for the professors. Lastly my momma, my momma works as a research assistant and also she is a student too. She is getting her 2nd bachelors; her major is Medical Technology. Oh yeah and she is in the army too; she hopes to become an officer but since she broke her ankle those plans have to be on hold. Oh yeah I have a 15 year old brother. He has just gotten his permit and will be driving really soon!

I have a great family. They play with me all the time except when I am sleeping of course! Here is a picture of my momma playing with me!

Ever wonder how I got my name?

Hi everyone!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a good weekend! Well I could not play Frankie's fourth of July name game cause I was on vacation. But I have decided to tell yall how I got my name.

My momma is a very big Star Wars fan and she wanted to name me after someone from Star Wars; meanwhile my poppa wanted to name me "Charlie Brown." Momma was ok with that for a little while but she thought "yoda" seems like a nice name. But she did not like "yoda" well he is not hairy. My poppa suggested Han Solo; momma actually liked that name. But in the end it was Chewy; I guess they thought I look like Chewbacca the wookie!

Personally, I think I am cuter!

I hope you all are having a great weekend. Well guess what?! I gotta a new collar again! My papa thought my collar was too "girly" and got me a "manly" collar!

This is my new collar. My papa says it looks like the design "burberry."

I did not know what Burberry was, my momma told me it some design company that make everything in plaid shape. Yay I look stylish in my new collar!

My 4th of July vacation!

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone had a good 4th. Well I certainly did; I went to the beach at gulf shores, alabama for my vacation.

I like riding in the car but the ride to the beach is 3 hours long.....

Mama said that there was an oil spill in Louisiana and some of the oil has come on the shores of Gulf Shores.

Mama said those things are the "booms" that try to stop the oil from reaching the shore.

That's a boat trying to help with the clean up effort.

The pool looks nice though!

I mostly relaxed on my vacation!

Words of Wisdom for my Momma.....

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone is having a good week. Well I kindof am and I have some things to say to my Momma.

The other day my Momma went to the store and bought me a new collar. It was nice and all. But it was a little to "girly" for me. Come on Momma get me some "manly" stuff; I am a male dog!

Yeah... this is too girly for me!

Momma, please do not take my toys away from me! I want to play with my toys!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. My momma went out of town this weekend. She was a bridesmaid at her friend's wedding. I missed my momma this weekend but I was not too sad....because my poppa got me a chew toy from the store! Yay!

My chew toy had some meat in the middle of it. It was very good!

My momma had some treats at the wedding too.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I did because it was poppa's day! Yeah! My momma and i were scratching our head together to figure out what to get poppa for father's day! And then momma got it! She is going to put a picture of me in a frame for poppa! My poppa really liked present I gave him! I really love my poppa; I follow him everywhere.

When my poppa goes to work, I wait by the door until he comes home!

I hope everyone had a good weekend! My momma's sister came this weekend. I had alot of fun playing with her! It is always good to see her. My momma's going to see her in Boston in August and I hope she will take me with her!

I am so excited about this weekend! My momma's sister is coming to visit me!!! I remember her...she took me to my first vet visit! I cannot wait to see her. So while my momma was cleaning up the house waiting for her arrival, I was sleeping! Hey, a dog needs beauty rest!

My treasure chest

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Well as you know, I like to pay with my squeeky toys. But I place my toys in a special place.....my momma calls this my treasure chest!

This is where I put my toys. Oh and I like to put my poppa's shoes there too!

Hello everyone!

Yesterday was a very busy day for me. Yesterday I had to go to the groomer. I hate the groomer. I do not like being pampered. But then again, I do not like being hot either. It is so hot outside! So I guess I had to go to the groomers. Grrrrrr........

I'm going to the groomer's. Grrrrr......

This is my summer cut! Don't I look handsome? BOL!

After I went to the groomer, my momma took me to take my Canine Good Citizen test. It was really wierd. When it was my turn to take the test, these strange people had to pet and brush me. I was really scared at first but my momma told me to be calm. I was calm after that. I did all of my sit and down stays. The last part of the test was the hardest. My momma had to leave me for 3 minutes. I was really upset; I do not like to leave my momma! I started crying, at least I was sitting when I was crying. : )

But I passed my Canine Good Citizen test! Yeah! I can start signing my name as Chewy CGC! Now I am on my way to being a therapy dog!
