Happy Thanksgiving!

First of all i wanted to say thanks to all your concerns for my surgery on Monday. Rest assured i am fine. But I now have this annoying collar on me.
This is me with my "collar of shame." Momma says i have to wear this so i will not scratch my eyes.

It is Day 2.....and I am still wearing this thing!

And on thanksgiving.......

Grrrr..... At least my friends and family are healthy on this day of thanksgiving.
Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Chewy, I am sorry you have to wear that collar, but it is much nicer than some I have had to wear. I hope they gave you some turkey to make up for your pain and suffering.

Hi fellow Shih Tzu:) Sending you healing vibes from here. That's a nice collar you have, better than the cone-shaped one I had to wear when I had a surgery.

Happy Saturday and Happy Thanksgiving!:)

Hi Chewy,
As usual I'm playin' catch up after Thanksgivin'. Love your new collar. It's very becoming...don't understand why they call it a "cone of shame"? It's just like wearin' a cast isn't it? Humans don't shame in front of a cast or sling.
It might be annoying, but scratchin' your eyes could be very dangerous and painful.
Take care and get well soon.
Hawk aka BrownDog
P.S. Love the new fall colors and decoration for your blog!!

Glad you are doing better! That sure is a stylish collar of shame. I wouldn't be ashamed of it at all. However, I know you'll be glad to get rid of it. Feel better soon. You are so brave!

We're glad to read you came through your surgery well. And your new sweater is a lovely shade of green - looks so good on you. Every so often mom gets the notion to put sweaters on us when she's cold, but with Rosie's narrow little shoulders she walks right out of hers - mom soon gives up and takes them off thank goodness.
